Job summary

The Trafford NHS Talking Therapies Service part of Greater Manchester Mental Health NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a qualified CBT Therapist. You will deliver high‑quality CBT with regular supervision, CPD and training to support career progression, and provide both face‑to‑face and remote appointments.

The role requires CBT experience and BABCP accreditation, and includes at least one evening per week until 8pm. Join a stepped‑care service serving Trafford and Greater Manchester.

Qualifications

• Qualified CBT Therapist with BABCP accreditation.
• Experience delivering CBT in NHS or community settings.
• Ability to work evening sessions (minimum 1 evening per week until 8pm).

Responsibilities

• Formulate, deliver and evaluate CBT interventions for diverse mental health presentations.
• Carry out assessments, formulations and treatment in line with NICE guidance.
• Maintain accurate clinical records in line with policies and guidelines.
• Provide clinical supervision and support to colleagues delivering CBT interventions.
• Collaborate with MDTs for integrated care planning and risk management.
• Contribute to service development and quality improvement activities.
• Support service KPIs, waiting times and clinical outcomes using routine measures.
