Job Description

We are hiring a Chef Manager at Hampton Hill Junior School, Hampton Hill, dedicated to providing nutritionally balanced and tasty food for future generations. This role is term-time only with no weekends, offering great flexibility.

The Role

• £17.00 per hour
• 30 hours per week, Monday – Friday
• Term-time only – 39 weeks per year

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

• Preparing, cooking, and presenting food to Caterlink and client standards
• Ensuring compliance with statutory and company requirements for Health and Safety, Food Safety, and environmental legislation
• Enhancing the company's reputation through excellent food and service, exceeding client and customer expectations
• Managing daily operations, supervising teams, managing inventories, monitoring budgets, and implementing action plans
• Acting as the main contact for the client at your school, recommending and implementing improvements
• Communicating regularly with your line manager to monitor KPIs and financial targets
• Supporting and training team members, managing performance, and ensuring all training is completed
