Job summary

KM Recruitment is seeking a Catering Tutor/Trainer (Trainee or Qualified) for a centre-based role in Derbyshire. You will teach and assess learners working towards catering qualifications up to Level 2.

Ideal candidates will be IT literate, hold a Level 2 Catering qualification, and be willing to work towards PTLLS/AET. A full, clean UK driving licence and own vehicle are essential for this permanent, full-time post paying up to £35,000.

Qualifications

• Must hold Level 2 Catering qualification.
• Ideally experienced delivering training/workshops to learner groups.
• Willingness to work towards PTLLS/AET – fully funded and supported by employer.
• Must hold solid occupational competency within Catering/Hospitality.
• Must be IT Literate.
• Full, clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Teach/assess learners working towards Catering qualifications up to Level 2 in a classroom-based environment.
• Ensure sessions are motivating, engaging and develop learners' skills, knowledge and behaviours.
• Monitor student attendance and progress through regular assessment and reviews.
• Provide advice and guidance to learners relating to decision making and progression.
• Embed Maths and English into sessions and adapt delivery to meet learner needs.
