KM Recruitment is a specialist UK wide recruiter for the Skills and Employability sectors. We are seeking a Chef Trainer/Assessor (Trainee or Qualified) based Home/Field with travel across the East Midlands.

The role combines online delivery, employer-site visits and classroom-style Chef training. You will train, assess and deliver Qualifications up to Level 4, support learners to achieve Functional Skills Maths and English, and manage your diary and documentation while inspiring learners to

Qualifications

• Must have experience as Head Chef or Sous Chef.
• Experience cooking from scratch.
• Willing to support learners with Functional Skills Maths and English to level 2.
• Excellent communicator with a learner and quality focus.
• Well organised with strong time-management skills.
• Confident and professional with ability to inspire and motivate learners.
• Full clean UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.
• Flexible travel across the East Midlands and surrounding areas.

• This is a hybrid role and will include online delivery, face to face employer site visits and workshop/classroom-based Chef training.

• Managing your diary efficiently to ensure timely visits and reviews are conducted.
• Organise and maintain documentation on learners' progress.
• Support, advise and motivate learners.
• Overcome barriers to learning and adapt delivery to meet learner's needs.

Starting salary:£29,000 - progressing to £30,000 + BONUS
