Compass Group UK&I, Chartwells is seeking a Catering Supervisor to oversee all catering and service operations on a part-time basis (25 hours per week) across education sites. The role demands hands-on supervision, delivering exceptional food and customer service, and maintaining brand standards.

The role emphasises safeguarding, DBS checks, and a commitment to the welfare of children. You will work with schools and education settings, directing teams and ensuring health and safety

Qualifications

• Minimum two years catering experience.
• Experience managing teams in a similar role.
• Basic Food Hygiene certificate.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ambitious and motivated individual.

Responsibilities

• Preparing delicious food to the highest standards.
• Supervising culinary and catering teams to ensure impeccable food and customer service.
• Communicating regularly with your line manager to monitor KPIs and targets.
• Representing Compass Group UK&I and maintaining a positive brand image.
• Liaising between customers and our culinary and service teams to exceed expectations.
• Supporting and training our teams, leading from the front to help everyone excel.
• Implementing and reviewing Health & Safety standards to ensure compliance.
