Job summary

Thomas Franks is recruiting a Catering Supervisor for our Bristol site. The role focuses on leading the FOH and hospitality operations, ensuring service excellence and adherence to hygiene standards.

The position operates Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week. We offer competitive hourly pay and strong career progression within a leading contract caterer.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or supervisory roles.
• Barista training would be a plus.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities; training provided for digital systems.

Responsibilities

• Overseeing FOH & hospitality operation.
• Support the Chef Manager in day-to-day operations.
• Ensure food standards, hygiene and health & safety procedures are followed.
• Assist with customer service, EPOS system, stock replenishment, service and clearing down.
• Maintain high service standards and control waste.
• Manage FOH food & beverage ordering.
• Coordinate hospitality bookings from initial contact to delivery.

Salary: £13.25 per hour
Hours: 40h per week

A fantastic B&I location, part of a large group, one of the world's leading communications services companies with this location based in Bristol. Catering for about 300 people daily, we offer a core feeding of Breakfast, Lunch and vending options along with lots of hospitality. This location operates Monday to Friday and benefits from good transport links.

We are looking for a Catering Supervisor to join our team at this prestigious location.

Key responsibilities

• Overseeing the FOH & hospitality operation.
• Supporting the Chef Manager in the day-to-day operations
• Ensuring food standards, hygiene and health & safety procedures are followed.
• Supporting the team with customer service, EPOS system, stock replenishment, food & drink service and clearing down.
• Maintaining high service standards and controlling waste.

• Managing Hospitality bookings from initial client contact to delivery

Skills and experience

• Previous hospitality or supervisory experience, barista training would be a plus.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work well within a team and good communication skills
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and adaptable to digital systems (training provided)
