Job summary

Thomas Franks Ltd seeks a Commis Chef at Bristol location, Monday to Wednesday 7:00–15:00. Join a large group delivering breakfast, lunch and hospitality with fresh seasonal ingredients and evolving menus.

You will train through the chefs academy, work in a supportive team, and showcase culinary skills across daily service with strong adherence to brand standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer and/or food preparation environment preferred.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Interest in fresh seasonal ingredients and developing cooking skills.
• Basic English reading and writing skills.

Responsibilities

• To work well in a team, providing breakfast, lunch & hospitality
• To produce food for service using fresh ingredients, cooking from scratch and following the company’s brand standards
• Ensuring company food standards are adhered to and wastage controlled
• Ensuring all Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and allergen control procedures are followed
• Experience of pot wash duties would be an advantage

A fantastic B&I location, part of a large group, one of the world's leading communications services companies with this location based in Bristol. Catering for about 300 people daily, we offer a core feeding of Breakfast, Lunch and vending options along with lots of hospitality. This location operates Monday to Friday and benefits from good transport links.

We are looking for a talented Commis Chef to join our team at one of our prestigious locations in Bristol Monday - Wednesday 7:00 -15:00.

If you are a current chef or want to train and develop to become a chef by joining our chefs academy then

You will be excited to work with fresh seasonal ingredients & regularly changing bespoke menus. You will be creative and have the opportunity to showcase your skillset.

Key responsibilities

• To work well in a team, providing breakfast, lunch & hospitality
• To produce food for service using fresh ingredients, cooking from scratch and following the companies brand standards
• Ensuring company food standards are adhered to and wastage controlled.
• Ensuring all Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and allergen control procedures are followed.
• Experience of pot wash duties would be an advantage
