Baxterstorey Uk is seeking a Catering Team Leader to supervise General Assistants, train staff, and support efficient catering operations. You will coach team members, monitor performance, and liaise with management on rostering, orders and stock control while upholding food safety and hygiene standards.

The role focuses on delivering quality food service, managing allergen considerations, and maintaining cost-effective operations with a strong emphasis on zero harm and sustainable practices.

Qualifications

• Experience leading and coaching a catering team in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication to brief staff and manage performance.
• Commitment to food safety, hygiene and allergen awareness.

Responsibilities

• Set to work General Assistants at the start and during shifts.
• Deliver on‑the‑job instruction and coaching on food service tasks.
• Brief and communicate messages to ensure understanding and competence.
• Plan rostering, timesheets, orders, stock control and audits with management.
• Ensure food is delivered on time to required quality standards.
• Maintain cleaning and hygiene across facilities and equipment.
