Job summary

BaxterStorey is seeking a Catering Supervisor in Enfield, North London to coordinate service across a busy venue. You will support on-site operations with chefs, events and reception teams to deliver exceptional food and drink and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Good command of English (written and verbal).
• Computer literacy is essential.
• Experience supervising culinary and catering teams.
• Able to train and develop team members.
• Excellent product knowledge (food and beverages).

• Strong customer care skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver catering across the site ensuring flawless service and food quality.
• Train staff to meet department standards, including casual labour as required.
• Monitor daily standards and report any concerns to line managers.
• Liaise with kitchen, events and reception to ensure consistent service per menu.
• Handle customer complaints courteously and escalate when necessary.
• Conduct regular checks of events areas for maintenance, housekeeping and health & safety issues.
• Monitor stock controls and in-house accounting policies, including stock takes.
• Ensure staff timesheets are completed accurately.
