Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is seeking an experienced Catering Supervisor to oversee Chartwells catering and service operations. The role is full-time, 40-hour weeks, with a shift pattern of 5 out of 7 days and a 52-week contract.

You will lead kitchen and service teams, ensuring exceptional food quality and customer service while maintaining brand standards and safety protocols across venues in the UK.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of catering experience.
• Must hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ambitious and motivated to upskill.

Responsibilities

• Preparing delicious food to the highest standards.
• Supervising culinary and catering teams to ensure delivery of impeccable food and service.
• Communicating with line manager to monitor KPIs and targets.
• Representing Compass Group UK&I and maintaining a positive brand image.
• Liaising between customers and culinary/service teams to exceed expectations.
• Training and supporting teams to excel in their roles.
• Implementing and reviewing Health & Safety standards across teams.
