Job Description:

Do you have experience of working in catering or hospitality? Can you work collaboratively to motivate a team? Are you ready to help us welcome our customers to the RSC's Cafes, Bars and Restaurants?

The RSC is looking for a Catering Supervisor to assist and support the Catering Managers in the efficient running of the, Green room and to assistwith the delivery of hospitality and events.

• No evening dinner service unless exclusive, private dining is required
• Reduced working hours on Sundays

Duties and responsibilities will include:

• Working collaboratively with the Catering Managers to enhance the visitor experience through the delivery of exceptional customer service and a delicious food and drink offering.
• Supporting the Catering Managers with coaching, training, and developing team members to deliver exceptional service.
• Running daily staff briefings to cover operational news, daily menus, or service changes.
• Receiving deliveries of stock and consumables.
• Managing all bill handling procedures, cashing up and closing down.
• Supervising all areas to ensure they are safe, clean, and suitable for all visitors.
• Ensuring compliance with all food hygiene, associated legislative regulations and Head of Safety requirements.

To be successful in this role you must:

• Understand and be able to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Have good leadership skills.
• Be able to encourage and motivate a team in a high-volume environment.

This is a full-time permanent position, based inStratford-upon-Avon, working shifts over 40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7, Monday through to Sunday.
