Gordonstoun School in Scotland is seeking a Storekeeper / Catering Stores Assistant to manage and maintain catering stores, ensuring stock is organised, rotated and accurately recorded. You will also coordinate deliveries, respond to supplier queries and support the day-to-day operations of the Refectory.

Full training and a comprehensive induction are provided, with PVG checks and immediate start available.

Formación

• Previous experience in stock control, stores management, catering or hospitality would be advantageous but is not essential.
• Full training and a comprehensive induction programme are provided.

Responsabilidades

• Manage and maintain catering stores, ensuring stock is organised, stored and rotated.
• Conduct regular stock checks and inventory counts to keep stock records accurate.
• Order food, beverages and consumables with the Head Chef and Catering Management.
• Monitor deliveries, check goods received and resolve discrepancies with suppliers.
• Manage catering emails and respond to enquiries promptly.
• Prepare and distribute stock and supplies to support day-to-day catering operations.
• Assist with hospitality events, functions and school occasions.
• Support catering operations and school events while maintaining high standards.
• Maintain purchasing, stock control and administrative records.
• Work closely with chefs, catering staff and suppliers to run operations efficiently.
