Gordonstoun School is seeking a Storekeeper / Catering Stores Assistant to join our vibrant refectory team. You will manage and maintain all catering stores, ensuring stock is well organised, accurately stored and rotated.

Full training is provided, with a two-week rota and every second weekend off. The role offers a supportive environment, pension, free parking, and opportunities to grow within the school community.

Formación

• Experience in stock control or stores management is advantageous.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Basic IT and administrative skills required.

Responsabilidades

• Managing and maintaining all catering stores, ensuring stock is well organised, accurately stored and rotated.
• Conducting regular stock checks and inventory counts to maintain accurate stock records.
• Ordering food, beverages and consumables in conjunction with the Head Chef and Catering Management Team.
• Monitoring deliveries, checking goods received and resolving any discrepancies with suppliers.
• Managing catering-related emails and responding to enquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Preparing and distributing stock, equipment and supplies to support the smooth day-to-day operation of the Refectory.
• Assisting with the preparation and organisation of hospitality events, functions and special occasions across the school.
• Supporting catering operations and school events as required, ensuring high standards are maintained at all times.
• Maintaining accurate purchasing, stock control and administrative records.
• Working closely with chefs, catering assistants and suppliers to ensure the efficient running of the catering operation.
