Job summary

Welford Healthcare is seeking a Catering Technician to lead the kitchen operation at Churchill House, Ludlow, ensuring meals are prepared, cooked and presented to a high standard while maintaining safety, hygiene and service excellence.

The role requires managing menus, stock and dietary needs, with a focus on a restaurant-style dining experience and mentoring team members to uphold quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Apetito menus and provide high-quality, well-presented meals, snacks, baked goods and breakfasts.
• Ensure menus are displayed for residents and relatives and offer alternative meal choices when required.
• Create a restaurant-style dining experience through excellent presentation, service and meal delivery.
• Gather and act on feedback from residents and relatives to continually improve menu choices and dining experiences.
• Support and mentor colleagues to take pride in food service standards.
• Prepare homemade baking and cater for specialist dietary requirements.
