Job summary

Belong Limited is seeking a catering professional to develop recipes and lead dietary compliant meals for residents at the village, reporting to the Bistro and Catering Manager. You will ensure meals are wholesome, nutritious, flavoursome and appetising, while maintaining health and safety standards.

You will also train and support the household teams, ensuring HACCP records are kept up to date and malnutrition prevention aligns with best practice guidelines. DBS check required.

Qualifications

• You will have a passion for food, creativity drive and commitment to deliver high standards.
• Be able to train and develop, encourage and support your team.
• Follow all Health and Safety guidelines to ensure your department is well led and safe.
• Level 2/3 Catering qualifications are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health, safety and food hygiene procedures for the households catering are followed.
• Complete all HACCP records for the household catering service.
• Prevent malnutrition and dehydration by following best practice guidelines and dietician advice.
• Monitor service standards throughout the household kitchens to ensure quality.
• Knowledge of SALT and dysphasia is essential.
