Job summary

MacGregor Industrial Supplies in Inverness is seeking an Internal Sales candidate with a catering or hospitality background to join the Catering & Hygiene team. Use industry knowledge to help customers find the right products and solutions, with a move into a customer-focused sales career and more regular working hours.

You don’t necessarily need sales experience; hands-on catering/hospitality experience and customer-facing skills are what we’re after.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience within catering or hospitality (e.g., hotel, restaurant, kitchen, or similar)
• Able to understand customer needs and translate to products

Responsibilities

• Speak with customers by phone, email and in person
• Understand requirements and recommend appropriate products
• Prepare quotations and follow up sales opportunities
• Process orders accurately and efficiently
• Build relationships with existing customers
• Proactively identify opportunities to grow sales
• Develop new business within the Catering & Hygiene market
• Work closely with Category and External Sales teams
• Learn and develop knowledge across our product range
