Job summary

Thomas Franks is seeking a General Assistant in Winchester to join a busy catering team. You will assist with serving customers, preparing service areas, and ensuring hygiene and safety standards are maintained across daily meal services and events.

Experience in fast-paced catering is ideal. A positive, customer-focused attitude and ability to work on a 5 over 7 shift pattern are valued. Free parking on site and a supportive team environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced catering environment.
• Willingness to learn new skills and take on responsibilities.
• Ability to communicate clearly in spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Support the team with serving customers, replenishing stocks, cleaning.
• Prepare service areas for daily meal service.
• Set up, serve, clear and store away food, beverages or equipment for events and functions.
• Ensure hygiene standards and allergen controls are followed.
• Assist with restocking during service and manage waste appropriately.
