Job Description

The role involves analyzing financial data to improve processes, systems, and financial controls. You will work with Heads of Departments (HODs) and the Finance Manager to understand and control costs, and maximize financial efficiency.

  1. Analyze financial data, trends, and performance metrics to identify improvement areas.
  2. Assist in preparing annual budgets and forecasts, monitoring ongoing performance against these budgets.
  3. Gather data for variance analysis and insights on budget vs actual performance, providing regular reports for management and specific projects.
  4. Perform scenario analysis to evaluate the impact of different business decisions.
  5. Provide financial analysis to track the performance of Fixed Income businesses, drive decisions, and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  6. Conduct cost/benefit analyses for Capital Acquisitions and other projects.
  7. Create dynamic reports and dashboards to highlight trends and potential red flags.
  8. Recommend strategies for cost efficiency, identify financial risks, and propose mitigation strategies.
  9. Monitor market trends and external factors affecting financial performance.
  10. Provide administrative support to Finance Managers and the wider team, including ad-hoc reporting.
Qualifications
  • Experience in a similar role, preferably within the Catering industry.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Power BI and management accounts is desirable.
