Job summary

Mount Charles is seeking an experienced Chef for their Sunnyside House, Bangor site. The role involves preparing and cooking food to exceptional standards while adhering to HACCP regulations. Candidates should have culinary experience, HACCP knowledge, and excellent communication skills.

This position offers 27.5 hours per week with a working pattern of three days out of seven, including one weekend on and one off. Benefits include 20 days’ annual leave (pro rata), a company pension scheme, and employee assistance programs.

Qualifications

• Previous culinary experience.
• Demonstratable knowledge of HACCP.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Basic statutory training for safety and work instructions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food to exceptional standards.
• Ensure portion controls are observed.
• Provide the highest level of customer service.
• Complete bookkeeping and administrative procedures.
• Report defective equipment and ensure outlet opening/closing.
• Carry out required cleaning duties.
