Job summary
Holroyd Howe in Northampton is seeking a Catering Assistant & Saturday Coffee Shop Supervisor to join a busy school kitchen team. The role blends weekday catering duties with leading a brand-new Saturday coffee shop, serving pupils, staff and visitors with warmth.
You’ll work 7:30am–3:00pm Mon-Thu and 7:00am–12:30pm on Saturdays, totaling 35 hours per week term-time. Previous catering or customer service experience is desirable, with a friendly, flexible approach and strong emphasis on food
Qualifications
- Experience in catering, hospitality or customer service.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Flexible to work evenings and weekends for events.
Responsibilities
- Support the preparation and service of meals in the main school kitchen.
- Lead the new coffee shop operation on Saturdays.
- Deliver excellent customer service to pupils, parents, staff and visitors.
- Support catering for school functions, fixtures and events.
- Maintain cleanliness and food presentation in all service areas.
- Collaborate with colleagues to deliver an outstanding catering experience.
