Holroyd Howe is a leading UK contract caterer delivering fresh food services to independent schools and colleges in Cambridge. We are seeking a Food Service Assistant for a fixed-term role working 16 hours per week across Saturday and Sunday during term time.

You will support chefs, maintain high hygiene standards, and contribute to exceptional food service in prestigious education settings, bringing enthusiasm and strong teamwork to the role.

Qualifications

• Ideally have food production experience working within Education catering.
• Have good Health & Safety knowledge.
• Flexible with a can-do attitude, customer focused.
• Fun and enthusiastic.
• Have excellent organization skills.
• Demonstrate great attention to detail.
• Be a team player, and enjoy succeeding as a team.
• Have a flexible approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Foster a positive working environment by demonstrating effective communication, and teamwork.
• Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, always following health and safety regulations.
• Assist the Chefs in all aspects of food preparation, production, and service.
• Ensure the quality and presentation of all dishes meet the company's standards and client expectations.
• Collaborate with the catering team to execute special events, themed dinners, and other culinary initiatives.
