Job summary

Holroyd Howe in Northampton is seeking a friendly Catering Assistant & Saturday Coffee Shop Supervisor to join our school catering team. This role blends kitchen duties with leading a new Saturday coffee shop, delivering great service to pupils, parents, staff and visitors.

The main kitchen work runs 7:30am–3:00pm Monday to Thursday, while Saturdays are 7:00am–12:30pm. Term-time only, 35 hours per week, with occasional evenings or events.

Qualifications

• Previous catering, hospitality or customer service experience desirable.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Support the preparation and service of meals in the main kitchen.
• Lead the day-to-day operation of the school's coffee shop on Saturdays.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to pupils, parents, staff and visitors.
• Support catering and hospitality for school functions and events.
• Assist with stock control and maintaining the coffee shop environment.
