Mount Charles Group is recruiting a Catering Assistant for Southern Regional College, Newry West. This role involves assisting with food preparation, service and sales, delivering high standards of customer service, and supporting stock management in a busy facility managed by a leading facilities company.

Working 32.5 hours a week from Monday to Friday, 08:00 to 15:00, you will join a team that values reliability, HACCP compliance, hygiene and teamwork.

Formación

• Demonstrable passion for providing good customer service.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Flexibility and adaptability.
• Good navigation and time management.
• Workable knowledge of HACCP regulations.
• Basic food hygiene certificate.
• Basic statutory training to understand safety and communicate with customers.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in the preparation, service and sales of all food and beverages for the unit.
• Preparation of service counter.
• Provide the highest level of customer service in a consistent approach to anyone who uses the facility.
• Work as part of the team to ensure service is delivered on time and to a consistently high standard.
• Carry out all cleaning duties as per instruction from line manager or per unit cleaning rota.
• Ensure kitchen and service areas are always clean and tidy.
• Clear rooms of any trays, flasks.
• Be responsible for cash handling duties under your control.
• Keep up to date with current promotions and new products.
• Comply with all Health, Safety & Hygiene standards.
• Comply with all HACCP regulations as necessary.
• Follow procedures on correct handling and use of cleaning materials.
• Complete any administration as requested including recording of temperatures, updating cleaning schedules, cashing up tills and recording daily sales figures.
• Assist with effective management of stock control.
