Job summary

Accent Catering Services Ltd are recruiting a Catering Assistant for our school site in Rayleigh (SS6). The role is 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00am – 2:15pm, with a 15-minute unpaid break, term-time only.

You will help with food preparation, serving and maintaining standards of presentation for our nutritious school meals. Experience in a similar role is an advantage, but full training will be provided.

• Serving, cleaning and washing up
• Assisting with inventory management
• Maintaining high standards of presentation of food and replenishing counters
• Speaking to each customer in a friendly, helpful and professional manner
• Undertaking all basic training and working effectively with colleagues as part of a team
• This is a customer facing position so in addition to the above you will also need good communication skills and be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the English language.
