Job summary

Accent Catering Services Ltd in Rayleigh is hiring a part-time Catering Assistant for 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 2:15pm with a 15-minute unpaid break, term-time only. The role is customer-facing, requiring clear English communication and a friendly manner in a school dining environment.

Experience is helpful but full training will be provided; overtime flexibility is anticipated. DBS disclosure is required due to safeguarding policies.

• Customer-facing experience preferred; English language proficiency required.
• Experience in similar roles is advantageous; training provided.
• Ability to work overtime when required.

Job description

We have an exciting opportunity at our school site in Rayleigh, SS6 for a Catering Assistant to join the team at Accent. The role is 25 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00am - 2:15pm with a 15- minute unpaid break, term-time only

People are at the heart of everything we do, and we are looking for a motivated Catering Assistant to help us create an outstanding food offer at our secondary school site in Rayleigh. This is a customer facing position so in addition to the above you will also need good communication skills and be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the English language.

Experience in a similar role would be an advantage but full training will be provided for the successful candidate.

The ideal candidate will also have the flexibility to work overtime as required.
