Job summary

Accent Catering Services Ltd are hiring a Catering Assistant for our school site in Sevenoaks, TN13. The role is 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 10:30am to 2:30pm, term-time only. You will assist with food preparation, serving and maintaining high presentation standards while providing friendly, professional service to students and staff.

Full training is provided; previous experience is advantageous, and you’ll join a team that values work-life balance and a positive dining environment.

What you will be doing

• Food preparation
• Serving, cleaning and washing up
• Assisting with inventory management
• Maintaining high standards of presentation of food and replenishing counters
• Speaking to each customer in a friendly, helpful and professional manner
• Undertaking all basic training and working effectively with colleagues as part of a team

This is a customer facing position so in addition to the above you will also need good communication skills and be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the English language.

Experience in a similar role would be an advantage but full training will be provided for the successful candidate.
