Job summary

Accent Catering Services Ltd in Bromley is seeking two Catering Assistants for school catering roles. Roles include 15 hours/wk permanent and 27.5 hours/wk maternity cover, term-time only. You will support food preparation, serving and maintaining meal quality at our school site in Bromley.

Qualifications

• Good communication skills and clear spoken English.
• Experience in a similar role is advantageous but full training is provided.

We have exciting opportunities at our school site in Bromley for two Catering Assistants to join the team at Accent.

Vacancies available are:

• Permanent - 15 hours per week, 11:30am - 2:30pm, Monday to Friday.
• Maternity Cover (1 year) - 27.5 hours per week, 8:45am - 2:15pm, Monday to Friday.

Term time only.

What you will be doing

• Food preparation
• Serving, cleaning and washing up
• Assisting with inventory management

• Speaking to each customer in a friendly, helpful and professional manner
• Undertaking all basic training and working effectively with colleagues as part of a team

This is a customer facing position so in addition to the above you will also need good communication skills and be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the English language.

Experience in a similar role would be an advantage but full training will be provided for the successful candidate.
