Job summary

Aramark is recruiting a Catering Assistant for Cambridge Regional College in Cambridge. The role offers a friendly, enthusiastic environment to join a busy catering team serving students, staff and visitors.

Qualifications

• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Awareness of food hygiene and food safety standards.
• Reliable, punctual, and organised approach to work.
• Basic numeracy skills to support till work and stock control.
• Previous catering or hospitality experience is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with food preparation and service.
• Serving students, staff, and visitors in a friendly and professional manner.
• Operating tills and handling customer transactions.
• Replenishing counters and service areas.
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout kitchen and dining areas.
• Following food safety, allergen, and health & safety procedures.
• Supporting the catering team with the smooth day-to-day running of the service.
