Aramark UK in Cambridge is recruiting a General Assistant to support front and back of house operations in a busy catering environment, delivering friendly, efficient service and maintaining high standards throughout the site.

You will assist with setup and close-down, handle basic food preparation, receive deliveries, and help ensure stock is stored correctly while abiding by food hygiene and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills.
• Previous experience in a service-driven environment.
• Food and beverage experience is desirable.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Supporting both front and back of house service and operations.
• Assisting with the set-up and close-down of the business each day.
• Providing excellent customer service to customers and visitors.
• Undertaking basic food preparation duties.
• Receiving deliveries and ensuring stock is stored correctly.
• Supporting food service during busy periods.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation in service and preparation areas.
• Following food hygiene, health & safety, and company procedures at all times.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations.
