Job summary

Aramark UK is recruiting a General Assistant to support front and back of house operations at our Cambridge site CB3 0ET. This role focuses on customer service in a busy catering environment, with a friendly team and opportunities to develop within the company.

Working weekdays 7:30am–3:00pm for 35 hours per week, you will help with setup, stock, service, and basic food prep while upholding food hygiene and safety standards. Training and progression are actively encouraged.

Qualifications

• Food and beverage experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supporting both front and back of house service and operations.
• Assisting with the set-up and close-down of the business each day.
• Providing excellent customer service to customers and visitors.
• Undertaking basic food preparation duties.
• Receiving deliveries and ensuring stock is stored correctly.
• Supporting food service during busy periods.
• Maintaining cleanliness and organisation in service and preparation areas.
• Following food hygiene, health & safety, and company procedures at all times.
• Working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations.
