Aramark is recruiting a Catering Assistant at West Suffolk College. This role is 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 3:00pm, with 34 working weeks per year, and a salary of £16,904.30 per annum.

Qualifications

• Previous catering, hospitality, retail, or customer service experience is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with food preparation and presentation
• Serving food and beverages to students, staff, and visitors
• Delivering excellent customer service throughout service periods
• Operating tills and handling customer transactions
• Replenishing food counters and service areas
• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout kitchen and dining areas
• Assisting with washing up and general kitchen duties
• Following food safety, allergen, and health & safety procedures at all times
• Supporting the catering team with the smooth day-to-day operation of the service
