Job summary

Aramark UK is recruiting a Catering Assistant to join our team at Woodstock, OX20 1LP. You will support day-to-day catering operations, help deliver great food and customer service, and work with a friendly team to maintain high standards of cleanliness and food safety.

Qualifications

• A positive and customer-focused attitude.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous catering, hospitality, retail or customer service experience is desirable.
• Experience handling cash and operating tills would be advantageous.
• A willingness to learn and undertake training as required.

Responsibilities

• Serving food and beverages to customers in line with company standards.
• Providing excellent customer service and responding to customer enquiries.
• Preparing basic food items and assisting with food service.
• Operating tills and handling payments accurately.
• Replenishing stock and maintaining food and beverage displays.
• Cleaning catering areas, equipment, crockery and cutlery.
• Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and health & safety.
• Supporting the wider catering team with daily operational tasks.
