Responsibilities

• Ensure HACCP and food hygiene regulations are followed.
• Check in deliveries and ensure high-quality produce is accepted.
• Maintain FIFO stock rotation and proper storage of items.
• Clean service areas and equipment as required.
• Prepare service areas and ensure items are ready for service.
• Store food items and equipment correctly after service.
• Assist in other kitchen units during quieter periods.
• Maintain personal hygiene, appearance and uniform per policy.
• Monitor and record temperatures of foods and equipment.

Catering Assistant - FM Service Provider - Witney - £13.45 per hour
Exciting opportunity for a Catering Assistant to work for an established company situated in Witney. The successful candidate will have a proven track record as a Catering Assistant and will be able to work Immediately.

Hours/Details:

• Monday to Friday
• 07:30am to 15:00pm
• Temp to perm
• Week days - £13.45 per hour
• Weekends - £15 per hour
• Immediate start

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensuring all food hygiene regulations are adhered to, in particular HACCP regulations
• Checking in of food deliveries ensures that only the highest standard of produce is accepted into the units.
• Ensuring that all food storage complies with food hygiene regulations and that F.I.F.O stock rotation system is being followed
• Cleaning duties associated with service and related equipment and/or furniture
• Preparation of service area and/or service points
• Correct storage of food items and equipment after service
• Assist in other unit kitchen onsite during quieter periods in hospitality
• Maintain personal hygiene, appearance and uniform to company regulations at all times
• Comply and assist in the promotion and implementation of the company’s health and safety policy
• Monitor and record food and equipment temperatures.
