Cbw Staffing Solutions seeks a Catering Assistant for a role in Witney. The position offers an immediate start, Monday to Friday hours, and a temp-to-perm pathway with pay of £13.45 per hour on weekdays and £15 per hour on weekends.

The successful candidate will have catering experience, uphold strict food hygiene regulations, and be reliable with good communication skills to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering environments and familiar with basic HACCP controls.
• Ability to maintain high hygiene standards and food safety compliance.
• Good communication with team and supervisors.
• Reliable, honest and able to start immediately.

Responsibilities

• Ensure HACCP and food hygiene regulations are followed.
• Check in deliveries and ensure high-quality produce is accepted.
• Maintain FIFO stock rotation and proper storage of items.
• Clean service areas and equipment as required.
• Prepare service areas and ensure items are ready for service.
• Store food items and equipment correctly after service.
• Assist in other kitchen units during quieter periods.
• Maintain personal hygiene, appearance and uniform per policy.
• Monitor and record temperatures of foods and equipment.
