Job summary

North Yorkshire Council is recruiting two Catering Assistants for Collingham Primary School, Wetherby, North Yorkshire. Roles are permanent and part-time: one post at 10 hours per week and another at 7.5 hours per week, with no weekend work. Hours are 11:30am–13:30pm (10h) and 11:45am–13:15pm (7.5h).

Roles are term-time weeks, with equal monthly payments year-round. You will be supporting the Catering Manager, delivering a high-standard catering service, serving meals to students and staff, and

We are proud to offer a wide choice of healthy options to our children. We are currently recruiting 2 Catering Assistants to join our team at Collingham Primary School.

As a Catering Assistant your role will be to support the Catering Manager in delivering an effective catering service operating to the highest standards of food safety. On a daily basis you will be serving meals to students and staff, washing up and cleaning down the kitchen.

You will be a valued member of our friendly team who is reliable, dependable and committed, working from 11:30am to 13:30pm totalling to 10 hrs per week for one position , the other post will be working from 11:45am until 13:15pm totalling 7.5 hours per week. No weekend work!

You will work term time weeks only however you will receive equal monthly payments throughout the year. For this you will be paid £13.28 per hour in addition to annual holiday and Bank Holiday entitlement.
