South West Norse is seeking a Catering Assistant to support all aspects of our school catering service, including preparation, cooking, presentation and service while upholding food hygiene and QA procedures. The role involves collecting meals from Sidmouth Primary School, transporting to Hawkchurch Primary School, serving to staff and students, and returning to Sidmouth.

You will be supporting all aspects of the catering service including ensuring completion of the preparation, cooking, presentation and service of our nutritious food and beverage outlets to students and staff while complying with food hygiene, Health and Safety and QA procedures.
This customer facing role will provide you with great exposure to all aspects of the catering environment with lots of opportunities to learn and develop your skills within the industry.
This role will require you to pick up the meals at Sidmouth Primary School, then transport these to Hawkchurch Primary School. You will then serve these, clear up and take these back to Sidmouth Primary School.
As we recognise the importance of building a strong kitchen team to be a key ingredient to our catering success, we currently have an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Catering Assistant join our team on a part-time, permanent basis working Term-time only., Due to the travel requirements of this role a Full UK Driving Licence is required, along with access to a personal vehicle - Mileage will be paid at 55p per mile.
