Job summary

Miquill is seeking a friendly Catering Assistant to join our school kitchen team. You will provide excellent customer service, help prepare nutritious meals from fresh ingredients, and support a safe, welcoming dining environment for students and staff.

Based in the Midlands, this role offers weekday hours with term-time weeks. Training is provided for all essential Food Hygiene and Health & Safety practices, and no weekends are required. DBS checks apply as part of safeguarding commitments.

Qualifications

• Friendly and versatile personality suited to a fast-paced environment.
• Exceptional customer service skills and enjoy interacting with people.
• Catering experience is a bonus; full training provided for the right person.
• Basic knowledge of Health and Safety practices.
• Food Hygiene Level 2 is preferred, but training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of a dynamic team to create a positive dining experience for students and staff.
• Assist with preparing and serving meals.
• Operate tills (full training provided).

Job Introduction

As a Catering Assistant, you are the friendly face and backbone of our kitchen team! You'll provide fantastic customer service while assisting in the preparation of delicious, nutritious meals of the highest quality, using our fresh ingredients.

Main Responsibilities
