Miquill is seeking a Catering Assistant to join our kitchen team, delivering friendly customer service and helping prepare nutritious meals using fresh ingredients. You will be a key part of a dynamic team, serving students and staff with a smile while maintaining a clean, safe kitchen environment.

• Support the team to deliver high-quality catering in a school setting.

Monday to Friday working—no more weekends!

10 hours working with no late nights.

39 weeks per year based around school term time (more time to spend with friends and family!).

£12.71 per hour

Job Introduction

As a Catering Assistant, you are the friendly face and backbone of our kitchen team! You'll provide fantastic customer service while assisting in the preparation of delicious, nutritious meals of the highest quality, using our fresh ingredients.

Main Responsibilities

Working as part of a dynamic team to create a fun and unique dining experience for students and staff

Assisting with preparing and serving our delicious meals.

Operating Tills (full training provided)

Ensuring a sparkling clean kitchen environment at all times

Strictly adhering to all safety guidelines, including Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policy

The Ideal Candidate

Exceptional Customer Service skills—you love interacting with people!

Previous catering experience is a bonus, but training is provided for the right person!

Basic knowledge of Health and Safety practices.

Food Hygiene Level 2 is preferred, but not essential, as full training will be provided!
