Job summary

Places for People is seeking a participant to join our catering/retail operations at Places Leisure, delivering high-quality service to visitors. You will assist in food preparation, uphold Health & Safety and hygiene standards, and help maintain the presentation and cleanliness of catering areas.

You will bring catering or retail experience, allergens awareness, and a friendly, personable manner to engage a wide range of customers in a busy community setting.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering or retail roles with allergen awareness and hygiene knowledge.
• Good understanding of Health & Safety regulations and food standards.

You will ensure high standards are maintained at all times. You will assist in food preparation, complying with all Health & Safety and Food hygiene policies whilst prioritising the presentation and cleanliness of all catering areas. A large part of your role will be to represent the company by operating a high standard of customer service to all our visitors.

More about you

You will have experience of working within a catering or retail role, with an awareness of allergen and hygiene standards. You should have a good background knowledge of current Health & Safety regulations as well as current food standard policies. You will have a personable and friendly manner and ideally be used to dealing with a wide range of customers.
