Job summary

Aramark UK is recruiting a Catering Assistant for Leuchars (KY16 0JX) to join a busy catering operation, delivering great food and service in a dynamic environment.

You will support daily catering activities, operate POS tills, handle cash, serve meals, and help maintain kitchen cleanliness and stock levels. The role offers £12.71 per hour, 35 hours per week, five days over seven, with staff meal discounts and on-site parking.

We are currently recruiting for a Catering Assistant to join our team in Leuchars, KY16 0JX. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and customer-focused individual to become part of a busy catering operation, delivering great food and service within a dynamic environment.

What you'll be doing

• Working within the catering department to support daily food service operations
• Operating POS till systems and handling cash transactions accurately
• Serving meals and providing excellent customer service
• Preparing cold food items including salads, sandwiches, and grab-and-go products
• Washing dishes, utensils, and catering equipment
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene throughout kitchen and service areas
• Assisting with stock replenishment and stock rotation
• Following food safety, health & safety, and company procedures at all times
• Supporting the wider catering team to ensure efficient service delivery

Qualifications

• Previous experience working within a high-volume catering environment would be advantageous
• Excellent customer service and communication skills

Additional Information

• Successful candidates will be required to complete a Disclosure Scotland check prior to employment
• Due to the nature of the establishment, a security clearance check will also be required
