Job summary

Mariposa Care Group is hiring a Catering Assistant for Riverwell Beck care home. You’ll support the kitchen team with cleaning, pot washing, storing crockery and preparing morning/afternoon tea trolleys for service. You should enjoy teamwork and helping residents thrive.

The role requires good English and numeracy, a caring approach, and willingness to learn. Training and progression opportunities are supported by the employer.

Qualifications

• Good English and numeracy skills are required.
• Able to work as part of a kitchen team.
• Comfortable with cleaning, pot washing and food support tasks.

Responsibilities

• Support kitchen team with cleaning, pot washing and storage of crockery.
• Prepare morning and afternoon tea trolleys for service.
• Assist in general kitchen duties and team collaboration.

Mariposa Care has an opportunityfor aCatering Assistant to joinour friendly care home, Riverwell Beck. We’re on the lookout for someone to support the kitchen teamwith a variety of tasks including cleaning, pot washing, ensuringall crockery and equipment is stored appropriately andthat all morning and afternoon tea trolleys are prepared and ready for service. You will be happy workingas part of a team and supporting your colleagues.
