Job summary

Atrium, a Lloyd's insurer with a long-standing heritage, seeks two Risk Analysts for its Delegated Property Catastrophe team to develop exposure and catastrophe risk metrics supporting risk management and underwriting decisions.

You will support Delegated Property Underwriting via pre-bind modelling, data cleansing, and model validation, using catastrophe models to deliver portfolio insights and enhance exposure MI across the organisation. Flexible working arrangements available.

Qualifications

• Experience with catastrophe modelling platforms (RMS, AIR) and data analysis.
• Strong numerical aptitude with ability to produce and interpret statistical data.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications with accuracy and efficiency.
• Experience with data cleansing and quality checks to maintain data integrity.
• Exposure to SQL is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to the Delegated Property Underwriting team through pre-bind modelling and other assistance as required.
• Investigate aggregations, track portfolio movements, and support understanding changes in risk or concentrations of exposure.
• Assist in producing RDS submissions, model outputs, and monthly exposure reports.
• Validate model results for syndicate reporting and regulatory submissions.
• Contribute to the preparation of regulatory returns in line with compliance requirements.
• Perform data cleansing tasks and data quality checks to ensure accuracy.
• Use catastrophe models to deliver portfolio analysis and insights.
• Enhance the accessibility and usability of exposure management information across the business.
• Promote adoption of exposure MI and innovative technology solutions.
