NHS Scotland is seeking an enthusiastic Administrator to join the Admin Team at the National Treatment Centre-Highland in Inverness. Job description

This is an exciting time to join the Admin Team based at the National Treatment Centre-Highland on the Inverness Campus to support the cataract pathway for patients attending from NHS Highland, NHS Grampian and NHS Tayside. This is a permanent part time post, where the postholder will be part of a wider team supporting the Ophthalmology Service but focussed on delivery of the cataract pathway, following patients on their journey from point of referral through to discharge and therefore you will be part of the Multi Disciplinary Cataract Team comprising Consultants, Optometrists, Outpatient and Theatre Nursing and you will have links with the other referring Boards.

If you are a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual who can deliver a high-quality administrative service, with proven experience, who has the ability to work accurately, maintaining high standards of attention to detail and who can work autonomously as well as part of a team then this may be the post for you.

Medical terminology and a high degree of typing speed and accuracy are required together with excellent organisational skills and flexibility in approach to work.
