Job summary

Cats Protection’s Neutering Support Advisor role offers a hybrid work arrangement within a commutable distance of Chelwood Gate. It is a 12-month fixed-term contract for 21 hours per week, typically Monday to Wednesday, with a salary up to £15,356.20 per year.

Join a busy team providing guidance on voucher schemes, welfare packages and neutering processes, while supporting branches, centres and vets. Strong communication and data handling skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and customer support skills.
• Excellent organisation and attention to detail.
• Comfortable working with data, systems, and process driven tasks.
• A collaborative, positive approach to working with dispersed teams.
• A passion for animal welfare and Cats Protection’s mission.
• Proven experience in a contact centre environment.
• Proficiency across multiple customer service platforms: phone, email and social media.
• Excellent telephone manner and communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to manage difficult customer interactions and resolve issues empathetically.
• Strong knowledge ofMicrosoft Office, especially Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Ability to work independently and perform accurately under pressure.

• Responsible for offering clear guidance on voucher schemes, welfare packages, and neutering processes, while helping to resolve day today queries
• Help maintain accurate data records, ensuring teams have the information they need to make informed decisions.
