Location: Hybrid within a commutable distance of our UK Cat Centre in Chelwood Gate
Work pattern: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, flexible working options considered
Salary: Up to £25,593.67 per year

Responsibilities of our Neutering Finance Assistant
- Provide processing and administrative support for the Neutering Voucher schemes and more widely for the finance team
- Working as a team player and inputting data, this role will support one of Cats Protections main goals to encourage the neutering of all cats and kittens
- Work efficiently and communicate effectively as part of the Neutering Finance Team, Neutering Support team and wider Finance Team and will work with a wide variety of stakeholders, giving support and information to Cats Protection Branch Volunteers, Veterinary Practices, as well as other departments when needed.
About the Neutering Finance team
- The Neutering Finance team is part of the Cat Welfare & Operations Directorate.
- Team of assistants and a Neutering Finance Team Leader that process neutering vouchers, and provide support and advice to Cats Protection employees and volunteers, external partners and vets.
- Facilities the smooth running of the neutering department.
What we’re looking for in our Neutering Finance Assistant
- Experience of working within a remote environment and where possible experience working with a finance team
- Ability to process data accurately and quickly
- Good communication skills - both verbally and in writing and the ability to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders
- Experience of using accounting software or a similar type of database
- Experience of using Microsoft Excel and Outlook
