Job summary

Advance is recruiting a Female Casual Support Worker to support customers with learning disabilities, autism and other needs in Warwickshire. The role is zero contracted hours across Nuneaton, Bedworth and Rugby; you must have a full UK/International driving license and access to your own vehicle with mileage paid.

The job involves personal care, medication support, meal prep, appointments, social activities and night checks.

Qualifications

• Must have full UK/International driving license and access to your own vehicle.
• Must be literate and numerate in English.
• Able to follow a Support Plan and Risk Assessments and maintain customer records.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with personal care and hygiene (if required)
• Medication administration (if required)
• Support with preparing and cooking meals
• Support with attending medical appointments
• Support with social activities
• Support with independent skills
• Support with domestic duties such as cleaning and laundry
• Keeping accurate records and updating care plans as required
• Keeping up to date with training
• Ensuring the premises are secure and safe during the night
• Supporting with meal times and food preparation (if required)
• Supporting with regular checks on the customer to ensure their safety
