Freemans Event Partners seeks confident, organised individuals to join as Casual People Event Managers. You will welcome staff, coordinate workforce, monitor attendance, and support on-site operations at major UK events.

The role is casual and shift-based, offering flexible weekend/evening work, full training, and ongoing support. Prior event management or team leadership experience is advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Staff Check-In: Welcome onsite staff, record attendance and guide where to go.
• Workforce Coordination: Help staff find areas and support changes during the event.
• Presentation Standards: Ensure correct uniform and readiness to work.
• Attendance Monitoring: Track lateness, absences, no-shows, staffing movements.
• People Support: Be first point of contact for welfare and onsite issues.
• Performance Monitoring: Observe staff and give feedback to deployment team.
• Timesheets & Reporting: Ensure hours are recorded and post-event reports produced.
• Communication: Liaise with venue management and internal teams.

As our portfolio of events and venues continues to grow, we're looking for confident, organised and people-focused individuals to join our team as Casual People Event Managers. You'll be the friendly face welcoming our event workforce, making sure everyone is in the right place, at the right time, and ready to deliver an exceptional experience., As a Casual People Event Manager, you'll support the smooth delivery of our on-site workforce operations. Your responsibilities will include:

• Staff Check-In: Welcoming employees onsite, recording attendance and ensuring everyone knows where they need to be.
• Workforce Coordination: Helping staff find their allocated working areas and supporting operational changes throughout the event.
• Presentation Standards: Ensuring our teams arrive in the correct uniform and are ready to work.
• Attendance Monitoring: Tracking lateness, absences, no-shows and staffing movements.
• People Support: Being the first point of contact for staff queries, welfare concerns and minor onsite issues.
• Performance Monitoring: Observing staff performance and providing constructive feedback to our People Deployment Team.
• Timesheets & Reporting: Ensuring hours worked are accurately recorded and submitting clear post-event reports.
• Communication: Liaising with venue management and our internal People Event Managers to ensure everything runs smoothly.

How does the role work?

This is a casual, event-based position, meaning you will be offered shifts according to operational requirements and your availability. You'll receive an event briefing before each assignment, and your primary responsibility will be managing and supporting our workforce onsite.
