Job summary

Searcys are seeking a Casual Pastry Chef to join Searcys Events in High Wycombe. You will act as an ambassador for the brand, working across kitchen sections and supporting the Exec/Head Chef in daily operations.

As a Pastry Chef you’ll benefit from industry-leading terms, including meals on shift, pension enrolment, and generous annual leave. The role is a casual contract with hourly pay of £19.

Qualifications

• Experience in catering or hospitality preferred.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• 5-star hotel or Michelin background desirable.
• Ambassador for the Searcys brand.

Responsibilities

• Provide food/service to a high standard, assisting senior chefs with functions.
• Manage stock levels for your section and order when required.
• Ensure presentation matches the standards set by senior chefs.
• Adhere to Health, Hygiene and Safety requirements at all times.
• Complete other reasonable requests from Senior Management.

Searcys are looking for a Casual Pastry Chef to join Searcys Events at High Wycombe.

Working as a Pastry Chef for Searcys will require you to be an ambassador for this brand and deliver food that creates lasting memories. As a Chef de Partie you will work across all sections of the kitchen and support the Exec/Head Chef in the day to day running of the venue.

Job Type: Casual Contract

Salary : £19 per hour

Key Responsibilities

• To provide food/service to a consistent high standard, including assisting senior chefs with functions in other different areas throughout the business.
• Responsible to manage stock levels of thesection you are overseeing including ordering when required.
• Ensure the presentation of the food is consistent with the standards set by senior chefs.
• To ensure all Health, Hygiene and Safety requirements are being adhered to
• Any other reasonable request by the Senior Management.
• Very well organised and ability to prioritise work load
• Ability to work under pressure
• Experience in working in a 5 star hotel or Michelin star restaurant is desirable
• Able to work effectively as part of a team
