Job summary

The Linen Porter role at The Copthorne Hotel Manchester, part of Millennium & Copthorne Hotels, involves supporting housekeeping operations at Salford Quays. You will handle linen, assist Room Attendants and perform general cleaning duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous Housekeeping experience.
• Previous Linen Room experience.
• Good communication skills.

• Ability to work weekends as well as during the week.
• As and when required, clean hotel bedrooms and public areas to a high standard.

Responsibilities

• Collect linen from corridors, counting it and bagging it for collection by the linen provider.
• Receiving linen orders from the supplier, checking and ensuring that it is received to the correct standard.
• Keeping the Linen Room clean and tidy.
• Delivering linen to floors for Room Attendants, as required.
• Carrying out general hotel cleaning duties, as required.

• Collecting linen from corridors, counting it and bagging it for collection by the linen provider
• Receiving linen orders from the supplier, checking and ensuring that it is received to the correct standard
• Keeping the Linen Room clean and tidy
• Delivering linen to floors for Room Attendants, as required
• Carrying out general hotel cleaning duties, as required
