Job summary

Telford & Wrekin Council Leisure Services is seeking casual Leisure Assistants to supervise leisure facilities and perform pool lifeguard duties across our centres in Telford. Successful candidates will join a dedicated team on an as-needed rota, covering mornings, evenings and weekends.

Applicants must hold a RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification and have experience in leisure and customer services environments.

Qualifications

• A RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification is an essential requirement of the post.
• Candidates should have the ability to supervise and control designated public activity areas.
• Candidates should have relevant experience in a leisure and customer services environment.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day supervision of the facilities including pool lifeguard duties.
• Work on a rota pattern including morning, evening and weekend shifts (as & when required).

We are currently seeking motivated and suitably skilled individuals to join the leisure services team.
